I thought this painting would be hopeful. Along the way, it became dark and real. I like that.

This painting came alive when I remembered to bring my senses into the moment. Mostly, I was trying to get the painting right. That was amazing but not miraculous. Even way stations reveal miracles when we bring our senses into play.
